Welcome to the 21st JUNKIN FINDS FRIDAY! I hope you have all had a great week and have some awesome finds to share today! But first I have an announcement to make.
This will be the final Junkin Finds Friday.
I have been struggling with this decision for several months. As you know my daughter is having her first baby any time now. I am going to be helping her when the baby is born and then again this summer. I do not feel that I can give the party the commitment it and you deserve. So reluctantly I decided I could no longer host JFF. My first thought was to contact one of my favorite bloggers and good friend Diann from The Thrifty Groove. Diann gave it some thought and has agreed to take over the Friday party! I am so thrilled! Diann's blog was one of the first I found, she has been a mentor to me and we have become really great friends! I think this is a perfect fit for her and all of you. Diann will host the party starting next Friday April 1st. I encouraged her to make it her own and she has decided to tweak the name of the party a little bit....
It will now be called
Diann thank you so much and I can't wait to join you next Friday!
Please everyone go visit Diann and get to know her if you don't already. She has an incredible blog and is the best thrifter I know! You will love her just like I do!
Here are my Junkin Finds this week....
I love this old recipe keeper and this crochet pot holder

Lovin' the green glasses and pinecone tray-cute! I can only imagine the excitement of waiting for your first grandchild Linda-enjoy every minute! I'll be glad to join Diann when I get lucky enough to find things post-worthy:@)
Oh Linda I'm going to miss this party...YOUR party. Because you're such a wonderful hostess with the biggest heart. But I totally understand your reasons and they are WONDERFUL ones! You've found (as always...sorry to sound like a broken record but it's true) some great deals! That aluminum tray is so nicely done. We'd have played tug-o- war on that one my friend! The sandwich glass cups are fab, and how lucky are you to find a cup you already have a saucer for?! That just never happens to me. *winks* I'm gonna miss this party *sighs* Vanna
Hi Linda! ~ I certainly understand your wanting to pass on the duty of "Junkin' Finds". You have done a great job, tho! I will pop over to Diann's site and follow her, as well. ~ Blessings to you and your daughter! :)
Oh Linda! I want to wish you the best! You have SO much to look forward to and I know you are excited about a grandbaby on the way! I'm so glad I met you and I can't wait to see photos that you will have to share! I love your finds this week...I remember when the cups came in the box of oats! I haven't thought about that in a long time! Hugs! ♥
Linda,
I'm sad to see you leave the party, but very happy for the reason...you will have soooo much fun with your new grandbaby (lucky you). Diann is such a sweet gal...happy that she will take it over:)
Blessings,
Linda
Awww, it's sad to see you leave the party, but I completely understand and wish you and your family the best!!
Hi Linda! Great finds as always! I do so understand your decision. When my grandson was born last year, I had to start posting just once a week! The little darlings need lots of love and attention! Keep us posted! And..I have another one due in about a week! Fun! Happy weekend!...hugs...Debbie
thank you for hosting! so sorry to see it go, but for good reason...congratulations to both you and your daughter!
Well Linda, I am bummed that you won't be doing JFF any more. I sure hope I can be as gracious a hostess as you have been! But, I also totally understand how you want to be with the baby and Sara! You know I keep waiting to hear that he has arrived!
Love the green glass dishes. Hey, I think your potholder matches my table runner! LOL
Linda, I totally understand. This is very time consuming. Enjoy that baby.
I did not get a post done for this week - to much other going on. Just wanted to say "Thank You" for hosting all this time - You are appreciated.
I can understand your decision, as those sweet babies have a tendency to occupy a lot of "our" time. :-D
You know I love the emerald green fruit bowls. I was tempted to buy more pieces not long ago, but was strong. :-D
Enjoy your evening.
Awesome finds once again! I really need to start thrifting again.
Oh, I am going to miss you hosting this party. You have been a wonderful host, and I have always enjoyed your posts and your comments you leave me. I totally understand your reasons for passing the torch to someone else. Daughters, and babies are much more important. Enjoy your blessed time with them. Hugs, Karie
Hi Linda,
I can so understand your decision. You have a lot of wonderful things going on in your life that take precedence. You did an awesome job hosting and I always enjoyed linking up my junkin finds. I look forward to Diann's new party next week.

Hi Linda....I understand totally about the time commitment and your new grandbaby coming. Of course, your daughter and baby must come first.
You have done a WONDERFUL job with Junkin Finds Friday! It has been great fun. I'm also so happy you will continue to join the par-tay.
Take care,Linda, and thank you for all the hard work you have done! Susan
Congrats on the new baby... what a blessed reason to have to shake things up a bit. Thank you for your Friday Finds, it's one of the main things that introduced me to the wonderful world of vintage blogging. Looking forward to Diann's edition.
You have been the most wonderful hostess!
But I sure understand your decision....
Anyway.
My Mom has those Sandwich glass pieces, too!
But that pinecone tray!!! oh my. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! I have hammered aluminum on my post also......
Hi Linda! I understand you are going to be a busy gal! Diann is will a great hostess. You did such a great job with it! You are the official Junkin Queen! Have a great weekend!
Awww hun - Diann will replace a fabulous host with a fabulous host - love both your blogs. Hope all goes well with your daughter and the new baby, sending massive hugs and will try and link up to your final friday party in a bit :o) Scarlett x
You have been the hostest with the mostest! I understand but I'm sad. Thank you for caring enough to ask someone to take over for you.
Enjoy that baby!
Great finds as usual....
Linda your hammered tray is fantastic!! I also adore the milk glass teacup (predictably!) :-)
Jem xXx
my favorite is the hammered tray, linda! I'm happy you're giving up hosting this gig for an even better one!!!
Oh what fun you're going top have with that new grandbaby to play with! I can't wait to see pics.
The hammered tray is gorgeous, that pattern is beautiful. I have several of those exact potholders, except mine are pink and white. My mother crocheted them in the early 80s.
You made a great find with that WA hammered tray...love the pinecones! I also love those green sandwich glasses....way thrifty!!! Thanks for hosting JFF!!!
Good morning, Linda,
I think Diann is a fabulous choice for taking over Junkin' Finds Friday (Thrifty Things Friday) for you. She'll be great at it. And you'll be just so happy and busy with your new grandbaby... how much fun. :-) Love your finds, especially the little cup with the blue flowers on milk glass, and the green Sandwich glasses you found. Very sweet and I love the green.
I hope you have a beautiful Friday,
Susan
Awww, hate to see you quit but totally understand. I have never had a weekly meme but I am sure it is time consuming.
Love all your thrifts..especially the sandwich glass pieces.
I am about to post your pretty teapot gift.
xo bj
Wishing you and your daughter the best. I know you are excited. Grands are so much fun. My first is four now and although I love blogging he comes first.
Love the little hammered tray.
Sounds like you are moving on to a much better roll. I am so excited for you.
This is my first time participating in junkin finds! Thank you for hosting!

Hi Linda, what a great blog you have :) My friend Pam sent me over via her post, to join in on the fun and share my project link. Thank you for hosting such a cool party, I had no idea this was your last, but I thank you for the link to Diane's blog. Also, I'm following you now, so I won't miss a thing, tami
Oh, sorry you won't be hostessing anymore, but nothing like that for a good reason! You have a lot of joy in store for you! I LOVE that aluminum tray!
Congratulations--enjoy your time with your grand baby! Thanks for hosting!
I'm sad to see that you won't be hosting Junkin Finds anymore, but am glad you found someone worthy to take the torch. Congrats on the impending grandchild!

Hate to see you leave as a wonderful hostess, Linda, but so totally understand your reasons for doing so. Congrats & much good luck on the new baby. Diann will be a great replacement. She & I are new friends. Your finds this week are terrific. Love the hammered aluminum tray. Can't wait to see what you might do with that.

Linda, I am glad I got to join your last party.
Grandbabies always win over anything else!! Ilove the green cups!
Carol
Thanks for hosting the party. Here I am joining in for the first time and it is the last party you are hosting. I'm off to check out some of the other entries.
Great finds, Linda! We had the El Verde pattern dishes 38 years ago as newlyweds! I totally understand you wanting to spend time with the new baby~ thanks for all the time you spent hosting the party! So nice of Diann to begin hosting a new one!
Wishing you and your daughter all the best, Linda. A new baby is a wonderful reason to realign your priorities. I look forward to reading about this blessed event in your family. Your thrifty treasures were fun to see today. I LOVE the hammered aluminum tray. What a great find!

Oh my gosh! I can't believe you found that great Aluminum dish, for less than $2 !!! Love it!! Sounds like you have some wonderful things happening in your family. :-)
Great finds Linda...love the pine cone tray. I can fully understand the need to help out with your first grandchild...they stay babies for so little time...enjoy every minute you can. I know Diann will do a great job hosting the meme.
I'm coming over to wish you and your daughter the BEST delivery EVER.
You will keep us posted won't you? I'll miss you if you leave : (

I'm going to miss your party, it has been one of my favorites; but I'm so excited for you about the upcoming "event". I would probably quit my job and move next door to my kids if they were to have a baby! hmm, maybe thats why they haven't yet....might have to rethink my strategy here.
I'll still be watching for all your great finds and news on your grandbaby's arrival.
Hi sweet Linda,
It's me...finally! Your treasures are beautiful! I know you'll keep junkin but personally, I'm REALLY excited to start seeing baby pictures, too:) Wishing your daughter a beautiful, happy and healthy baby!
XOXO
Suzanne
Linda, thank you so much for your many months of this great party. I know you took it over to keep it going and I know you will continue to be a part of my blogging world.
What a great reason to move on to "new and better" pursuits.
Your finds are beautiful and I appreciate your telling us the prices. Sometimes I wonder if my dollar spent here and there is really thrifty. I know all prices are rising but my cheapness is so deeply ingrained.
I have enjoyed participating in JFF with you Linda. Just wanted to let you know my new grandaughter, Lily, is here and so precious!! She weighed 6.13 lbs and is 18.5 inches long. A full head of brown hair. My daughter is doing fine too. I will share pics later. Thank you for keeping her in your ptayers and I will continue to keep your daughter in mine. Hugs!~Ames
I have thought about starting a party, but I wouldn't be able to keep it up either! Good luck with the new baby. My son was due April 10th, but he waited until the 18th.
Enjoy that darling grandbaby! That lovely gift. I completly get how time consuming it might be to do a link party. I limit how many I join because I have two houses, a child, a husband, and a garden. Which I am suere many have the same but I need my limits. hugs♥olive
That recipe keeper is SO cute! I know you'll miss your Junkin' Party, but you are about to have so much fun spoiling that grandbaby of yours! I can't wait to be a Grandma, but I know that's a long ways off. I want you to promise that once the baby is born, you have to include a picture of her/him in every single post, ok?!
Happy Sunday!
Carol
Even though you are stopping your junkin Friday, I will still read you everyday. Best wishes to you, your daughter, and your family....a baby is a wonderful, joyful event! i always love to see all the things you have found and my very favorite this week is the pinecone tray, it is lovely and so unusual! Have a wonderful week, I go back to school tomorrow and have lots of fun things planned for the next few weeks.
What fantastic finds! My mom had a set of dishes just like your green plate when I was a girl.
Congratulations on the grandbaby! I'm trying not to be jealous. Maybe one of these days I'll be a grandma too! I'm trying to be patient. :) Love ya girl!
