This year will be a table for two!
Mr ALC and I will enjoy a more casual setting
I am starting with this wonderful burlap table runner
This was made for me by Debbie at Confessions of a Plate Addict when I won her giveaway!
I used green leaf shaped place mats and these Metlox dishes that I found at a Salvation Army. This pattern is called Woodland Gold.
There will be coffee to go with dessert
I love the leaf colors on these dishes
We will be using Mr ALC's family silver
This acorn bowl will hold gravy this year
My Pilgrim S & P are so cute and from the
Publix grocery store ad...these were a limited edition and now a cute tradition on my table.
We will have turkey, dressing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes & gravy, rolls and an apple pie for dessert.
I found this matching water pitcher at another thrift shop
Amber water glasses and green wine glasses
A simple centerpiece with the candles lit
These leaf shaped votive's will add a glow to the meal
I am really looking forward to tomorrow!
I am so grateful this year for my many blessings.
Family, friends, home and health. A Grandbaby due in April and the joy of watching my daughter become a Mother. Life is good!

Nothing wrong with the way you are celebrating Thanksgiving. Where I am going will be noisy and too many people to suit me.

I did a Thanksgiving table for two tonight even though were going to my daughters tomarrow.I think the reason is because I handed the torch to my daughters for holiday dinners but I started feeling meloncoly about the whole thing.So we had a beautiful romantic dinner table set for two.Now I got to get going on what I told my daughter I would bring.Hope the two of you have fun and can relax.Your table looks festive.Take a look at my table I did for the two of us.Wel'l use it again for breakfast.It was fun.

Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I've been on hiatus for a while, I had a very dear friend pass away suddenly on November 5th and it just rocked my world to say the least but it has reminded me about how importand it is to tell our loved ones how much they mean to us while they are here...strange but you are in that category!

Linda, this table is so pretty. I love that dish pattern. I don't think I've ever seen that one before. Your burlap runner is perfect with this setting, and of course, you know I love your amber stems and green stems. (I used my amber stems for T'gvng too, and some green stems that were a wedding gift. Those s/p shakers are adorable. I hope you and your husband had a wonderful day. Your header is so cute with the scrabble letters. laurie
