Last week I met one of my Atlanta blogging buddies for lunch and some thrifting. We had a great time. Sandie who many of you know as Chatty Crone is such a fun lady. Sandie has just gotten the thrifting bug but is like so many of us and has lots of stuff and so is careful what she buys. She spotted my favorite find first and I offered it to her but she said no you get them! Ok so are you ready!!
Green Boopie Swirl Glasses!
Oh yes in all their glorious beauty sitting on a shelf in the Goodwill
Three sizes! Two large water glasses, Two medium juice glasses and Four sherbets! Only $1.97 each! Oh me oh my!
See the swirl on the stem and the boopie bottoms
I am so in love with theses gorgeous glasses
Thanks Sandie for spying these beauties!
On another thrifting excursion I found some new Orphan Salt and Pepper shakers for my collection...they ranged in price from 25 cents to 99 cents each
These are just fun and someone needed to give them a home
I especially like the frog!
I was passing a yard sale and my car just turned in...imagine that!
Not much to my taste at this one but I did find this for $1
This candle holder was in my fall colors
I think it will look cute with tea lights in it
This plate was found at a thrift
For 69 cents and is perfect with this candle holder on my table
A new fall decoration
I'm joining in with Debbiedoo's
Check out all the thrifty finds in blogland
and with Laurie
For a few of my Favorite Things
Always,
Linda

Finds like your green glasses are what keeps me going into all the thrift stores. It can be hit or miss but when you hit big like you did with the glasses it definitely makes it worthwhile.

Great deal on the glasses. Have seen them many times before, but did not know what they were called.
Tried leaving a comment earlier, but got error message, so don't know if it will show up later.
Way to go! You found more Boopie glasses, in green no less.
And I really do love the acorn stand and the autumn plate.
Yes the green glass is fabulous and I won't comment on more orphan salt n pepper shakers. Are you sure you actually have sets? I have to tell you that I love the metlox pottery piece. I have been finding quite a bit. Of course they are california pottery. By the way, I would not have known about Blue Ridge if it weren't for you. Thanks.

I love those green glasses. They're fabulous. Even more fabulous, though, would be spending time with Sandie. She's a sweetie...and I look forward to meeting her (and you!!) when I get back to the South.
